    Michael D. Noble

    Dr. Noble started working in the optical industry at 17 years old as an ABO Certified Optician.  Dr. Noble joined the military a few years later.  He was awarded the health profession scholarship and attended graduate school through the military to become an optometric physician.  He is a veteran of the United States Army with over 15 years in the service.  In that time he has earned multiple awards, ran one of the largest optometry departments, and is trained in the diagnosis and management of multiple optometric specialties.  He also provides pre and post-operative surgical care, including cataract, LASIK, and glaucoma surgeries.  Dr. Noble is proficient in providing exams in both English and Spanish. 

    Dr. Noble is committed to providing the highest quality care to his patients; therefore he stays educated on the newest advances in the healthcare industry.  He is an active member in the American Optometric Association and Armed Forces Optometric Association.  He also spends time working with the wounded warrior project as well as being an active member in his local church.  Dr. Noble also enjoys sports, hiking, and traveling with his wife in his free time

    Alma Fuentes

    Ever since receiving her first pair of glasses at the age of 8 years old, Dr. Fuentes has always been interested in the structure and function of the human eyes.  After working with a private local doctor for 5 years as an optician and attending Cal State Long Beach College, she went off to finish optometry school and graduated in 2012 completing her dream of becoming an optometrist.  Dr. Fuentes is fluent in both the English and Spanish language.  She is dedicated to providing the highest quality care with compassion to her patients. 

    Dr. Fuentes is a member of the American Optometric Association and College of Optometrists in Vision Development.  She is also an active member in her local church and enjoys outdoor activities with her husband and scrapbooking in her spare time

    Michael E. Heil

    Dr. Mike E. Heil is a graduate of the Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. He began practicing Optometry in 1981 with Pearl in both the Tacoma and Southcenter locations. Since then he has continued to serve the communities of Pierce and King Counties with high quality, personalized eye health care in an independent professional setting.

    Dr. Heil is certified in the use of both Diagnostic and Therapeutic drugs for the diagnosis and treatment of eye health problems. He is continually educating himself and has completed multiple courses in ocular disease, glaucoma and contact lens specialty applications. He is currently a board certified optometrist by the American Board of Optometry. Dr. Heil has dedicated his professional career to vision correction and contact lens fitting, as well as diagnosing and treating eye health problems.

    An active member of the Washington Optometric Physicians Association, Dr. Heil has been President of the State Association, and has also twice been the President of the Pierce County Branch as well as Treasurer, and as a State Board Trustee. He has acted as a lobbyist in Olympia, working toward better eye health care for all the citizens of Washington.

    Originally from Nebraska, Dr. Heil fell in love with the Pacific Northwest since coming here in 1977 to attend Optometry school. He lives with his wife, Janice, in Maple Valley; they have two grown sons. Dr. Heil enjoys mountain climbing and back country skiing and has climbed extensively in the Northwest. He has been a member of the Tacoma Mountaineers for many years, participating in and leading climbing courses and activities. His outings now usually include hikes and trips to our beautiful Northwest wilderness as well as National Parks with his wife and friends.

    Alan Bernstein

    Dr. Alan Bernstein has over 35 years of experience in the field of optometry, and has a rather colorful and extensive educational background. He studied at the University of Rhodesia, where he did two years of medical school, after which he completed Optometry school in South Africa. After several years in private practice, he studied in England and the U.S.A.  He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

    He has been in private practice in the Seattle area until present. He is a member of the American Optometry Association and the Optometric Physicians of Washington. He specializes in comprehensive eye health examinations and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. His mission is to keep the eyes healthy whilst striving to obtain the best vision for his patients, adhering to the highest standard of eye care using the latest advances in eye health care using the best in modern technology.
